ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE 19 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AS OF DECEMBER 1, 2025.
All applicants will need to be available to travel to Toronto for filming during the window of March 20-April 30, 2026. Filming is approximately fifteen (15) days.
You must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
You must be 19 years of age as of December 1, 2025
You do not currently work as a professional chef and you must disclose if you have ever previously worked as a professional chef or have earned income from preparing and/or cooking food in a professional environment.
You will need to include two videos and multiple photos that highlight your personality and cooking skills.
You must review and agree to the Online Agreement and Release at the end of the Application.

Your videos can be filmed on a smartphone. We do ask for recent photos of you, your signature dish and a dish you’ve recently prepared. All details of required visuals can be found in the application. Please note that photos and videos DO NOT need to be professionally shot and/or edited.
Make sure that your phone/device is in landscape mode (hold sideways please) so we see you full frame.
Make sure that your environment is quiet and well lit. Be sure there’s no music or TV playing in the background.
It is best to have your light source in front of you.

NO. We will only consider the first application received. Any subsequent application received from the same candidate will be deleted in its entirety.
NO. Due to the confidential nature of the series, you must keep your application, video and photo submission(s) private and confidential.
If you are selected to compete on MasterChef Canada, you must keep this information confidential until Producer provides the date when you may announce your participation in the Competition. If you need to disclose your participation to your family and/or employer, you must discuss with the Casting Team first. If you disclose your participation, whether intentional or not, you may be disqualified for breaching confidentiality.
